The Jeff Higginson Band exists for two reasons. To play worship music that rocks & to promote the ministry of Inner City Mission in Springfield, IL.

Inner City Mission is a homeless shelter with a long term faith-based approach. The band is made up of volunteers from all over Illiniois, and places beyond. Since JHB began in May of 2000 the band has raised over $25,000.00 for ICM. No one makes any money off of the ministry of JHB & all proceeds go to the ministry of ICM. The band's debut album (Nomadic Wanderings) was released in the summer of 2008.
